How to Become a Vermont Real Estate Agent

To become a real estate agent in Vermont, you need to meet the requirements below:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Complete a 40-hour salesperson pre-licensing course.
- After completing the 40-hour salesperson pre-licensing course, you must take the Vermont state licensing exam and the national exam.
- Interview and become affiliated with a Vermont licensed principal broker/office.
- Complete 8 hours of post-licensure education as approved by the Vermont Real Estate Commission.
