We have had the pleasure of working with Franz Rosenberger and the CB Islands Realty agency for nearly 20 years. Franz assisted us in our search for land in the mid 2000's and was instrumental in our negotiation and purchase of 3 acres of lake front land in 2006.  We have subsequently built our dream home and a seasonal rental. Over the years we have stayed close to Franz and he has recommended friends, family and customers to our summer rental.

Evan and CBI were instrumental in helping us find a home in this tough market. Evan was there when we needed him and his extensive knowledge of the islands was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend him and his team.

My wife and I searched for waterfront property in the Champlain Islands for over 5 years.  Nobody has a better knowledge of this space than Franz. We had very specific requirements on what we wanted and despite a long search, Franz was patient and always very responsive.  Once we identified the property we wanted, Franz made the deal happen as he had a long relationship with the seller. I am quite certain that if Franz would not have been our realtor, we would not have acquired this property. After signing, we had issues during the closing process that temporarily jeopardized the deal. Once again, Franz's relationship with all the parties involved (including the attorneys) is what bridged the issues and got the deal done. If you are serious about buying in the Champlain Islands, there is no doubt Franz is the best choice.

Alex found us several pieces of land to look at on a very short notice. Alex was extremely accommodating and meet us early on a Saturday morning. He took us to view 3 lots and we ended up purchasing 2.  Alex helped navigate us through the process and if we had a question, he either answered right then or returned our call within an hour.  I would highly recommend Alex to anyone purchasing or selling a home or a piece of land.

Evan Potvin was our broker with Coldwell Banker Island Reality. Based on our wants and needs he found a number of homes that fit our criteria and then he would meet with our daughter and son-in-law after hours to view and provide a Facetime viewing for us.  When our interests shifted from the islands to north Burlington, Evan found two townhouses that we were interested in.  He helped us craft an offer on the first one that I don't think could have been better but the market was such that the highest bidder took it with an offer over $ 20,000 more than our offer.  Another unit came available on a Friday, Evan helped us put together an offer and it was accepted on Monday. I think Evan's experience in making offers made this an offer the seller couldn't refuse.  He also helped us get through two closings as the mortgage company's financing was not done properly and we had to close a week later for a cash deal.  I think his skill and experience was what got us thru the second closing and we have been living here for 6 enjoyable months.  You can't go wrong with Evan as your broker.
